The box - full on smoky eyes staring!
Palette itself is a shinny black plastic mirror compact with the same smoky eyes image on it. It's quite small, smaller than my hand.
I love the instruction on the back of the box!
2 travel sized brushes come with the palette - 10P small shadow brush and 16P blending brush
8 shades in different finishes (left to right):
#04 Black (matte)
#79 Deep Plum (satin)
#81 Metallic navy blue (iridescent)
#80 Peacock Green (iridescent)
#122 Metallic Copper (iridescent)
#127 Metallic Taupe (satin)
#126 Yellow Beige (iridescent)
#07 White Shimmer (iridescent)
#79 Deep Plum (satin)
#81 Metallic navy blue (iridescent)
#80 Peacock Green (iridescent)
#122 Metallic Copper (iridescent)
#127 Metallic Taupe (satin)
#126 Yellow Beige (iridescent)
#07 White Shimmer (iridescent)
All the shadows have good pigmentation and applied smoothly, save for the matte black, it's quite sheer and patchy compared to others.
Bottom line:
For $45, you get 8 MUFE eyeshadows (1g each) which have decent color payoff and nice texture, that's pretty great value. Color combination is impeccable, you can go all dramatic with the darker shades or opt for subtle neutrals.
